As most know, Miss M can be bi-lingual: English, or rather, sign language is her first language and English is her second. Well, little did you know, she also speaks YIDDISH! *Ü*
On Saturday, we had a family excursion, including a stop at Stracks for some groceries (Grandma Dee was coming for lunch on Sunday). That wonderful Stracks store not only has her favorite flags on the light poles in the parking lot, but also has toddler-sized versions of shopping carts which we have been using our last few visits (I can actually have some room in the cart for the GROCERIES if Miss M walks herself, because Mr J's carseat takes up a good part of my cart). This visit, under Daddy's watchful eye, Miss M shopped for many of her favorites -- apples (green, of course), bananas, bread, Nutri-grain bars (a new favorite), Gerber cereal for Mr J -- carefully packing each item in her cart which also contained her baby, Princess.
Finally, we were at the last aisle, getting juice (Smooth Sunny D) which Miss M decided to pick up and put in her cart herself ("No, Daddy . . . M's turn!") and when she realized how heavy the bottle was, she exclaimed, "Oy vey!" Everyone around was entertained watching her push her cart, then get the juice, and probably nearly wet their pants when she said that!!
Hugs!!
